What a day!!

Today sucked. Blew a tire on the trailer, took forever to get it fixed, took forever to get into Edwardsville OC, all that put me 5 hours late for a 1000 appt which throws my next pick up, at the same place, back. I had literally wrote out about 7 paragraphs explaining all of it, but got disconnected from the internet and I'm not about to type it all over again. So just trust me, I am glad today is over.

Sorry to hear you're having such a bad day! Just wanted to let you know that I found your blog the other day and have read every word and have been checking daily for updates. You and your husband are doing exactly what me and my husband and thinking very seriously of doing. I'm very disappointed to see that Schneider isn't hiring from our area (Central Fla), am now looking for another company that offers training...I thought I was onto something with Millis, but now I'm not sure if they hire out of Florida either. Tried to call them, but it was after 5 PM on Friday so I have to try again on Monday....Sorry to leave you such a long message, just want you to know that your posts are very much appreciated!! Hope you have a much better day tomorrow!

J&J Try CFI/Conway out of Joplin,MO
They help with CDL school and hire from your area. CFIdrivers.com ask for Christine when you call.

J&J - I don't mind the long comment at all! That is what this is all about. I hope that people can maybe learn something from our experiences that will help them make the decision on whether or not they want to make the career switch to driving a truck. We love it! That isn't to say we don't have our bad days, but overall, it has been a wonderful experience. Now, I would still apply online and call in on Monday. You just never know, because they really do want teams. But if not, there are other great companies out there that may be a good fit for you. It sounds like you are doing the right thing, just research until you find what works for YOU. Let me know if you have any other questions or you can PM me over on pumpkindriver.com :)
